With eight years of expertise in the home merchandising industry I'm familiar with thousands of floor plans and have a wealth of knowledge for staging new homes.  This gives me the experience and insight to help sellers make their homes more attractive to buyers, and to help buyers find the homes that fit their needs.

I grew up on Greenwood Ridge near the Mendocino Coast and have lived in the region for most of my life.  I have resided in Philo for the past nine years, so I'm intimately familiar with the area and thoroughly involved in the local community, especially with the vineyard and horse communities.

One of the pleasures of living rurally is getting to indulge my love of animals.  I've ridden horses all of my life, and though I don't often ride Western style, I'm still thrilled that my horse Jac and I were the California State pole bending champions in 2004.  WLC Magic Jac is an eleven year old Paint gelding locally bred at the Shamrock Ranch in Laytonville, CA.  Not long ago I got him a companion: Royal Niche.  Nickie, as we call her, is a five year old Thoroughbred mare who recently retired from the races.  She's adjusting to the new country lifestyle just fine.  Rounding out the menagerie are the three dogs.  Lucy and Bess (a Jack Russell and a Toy Fox Terrier) are pets with endless energy for running underfoot, but Rosie is about to go to work.  She's a locally bred McNab Shepherd, and once she sharpens up her shepherding skills some, she and I hope to compete in the community sheepdog trials one of these days.

In my spare time, I help my brother run the Francis Fashauer Vineyard, the 6.5 acres of Zinfandel we named after our father, and I fuss over the little vegetable garden I put in this spring.
